Hello, Healthy!
Wow! Have you been in the Lee’s Summit Smoothie Shop in the last couple weeks? So much new stuff, so many changes! It’s exciting and in the next few blogs I want to introduce you to some new products you’ll see on the shelves (and the website, if you don’t live nearby) when you go in!
One of the new product lines at the store is Tru Wild. I love this company! They are taking some of the traditional supplement products we’ve seen for years and changing it up, creating instead something that is healthier, made from real foods, with a focus on quality that also provides optimal results.
One of my favorite items from Tru Wild is Wild Greens. I’ve used a few different greens in the past few years but this one is the best. The taste and texture are far better than others but honestly, it’s the beneficial ingredients that make it my favorite. This product is more than just greens, although the greens consist of more than 22 different organic greens including spirulina, chlorella, kale, and broccoli. Greens alone provide a whole host of nutritional benefits, including immune support and providing more energy.
Wild Greens also includes an adaptogen blend. Wondering what adaptogens are? Adaptogens are herbal medicines used to counteract the effects of stress. They work at the molecular level to balance the hypothalamic, pituitary, and adrenal glands. Basically, they help the body reduce the physical and mental effects of stress and give a natural boost that keeps fatigue at bay.
Adaptogens have been used and studied throughout the world for a very long time, the first studies were during WWII, and have since been shown to be both safe and effective. The adaptogens used in Wild Greens are Ashwagandha root, Reishi mushroom and Maca root.
If the greens and adaptogens weren’t enough, Wild Greens also added some raw fiber to improve gut health. They use an inulin fiber that comes from artichokes as well as acacia gum. Wild Greens are organic, vegan, gluten free and soy free.
This is a product I’m excited about, one that I think can really help people feel better and something that I use myself. I hope you’ll give Wild Greens a try and let us know what you think!
